SI Pain is a Pain in My Backside...
Literally, sacroiliac pain... better know as sciatica pain, really is a pain in your backside. It's the point right between center spine and your hip and when it "goes out" you won't, in fact, be going anywhere. It can be in one spot or radiate down your leg.
JUST when I started to think, "Hey, I'm really on a roll with this working out thing..." WHAM. Life says, "haha, that's cute." And changes things.
Going on 6 days, and two trips to the doctor and two prescriptions and one injection later... and I'm on the mend.
One thing I really have to remember is that health and fitness isn't just about working out. It ALL starts in the kitchen. You can only train away so much of bad diet before it catches up to you.
Another thing I've learned is that eating healthy doesn't have to be plain and yucky, typical "health" foods. You don't have to live on salads and bird food. You can eat. In fact, if you're training, you NEED to eat. Your body needs fuel to burn. It's like putting gas in a car--- no gas, no go, and you're running on fumes.
Heading back to the gym tomorrow and I'm hoping it goes well. Cross your fingers for me, and I'll catch you...
On the Weigh Down. -A
